The Speech Pathology Department at North Cypress is available to assist clients experiencing speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders following a neurological accident or condition. They evaluate and treat patients or clients that are hospitalized or in an outpatient setting for the following conditions:
- Speech disorders such as articulation, apraxia, dysarthria
- Language expression and comprehension
- Swallowing
- Cognitive problems such as memory, problem solving, reasoning
- Voice disorders
- Stuttering and fluency disorders
- Oral motor problems
