The North Cypress Cancer Center offers patients the latest in cancer treatment options and combined modality programs in conjunction with our staff Oncologists. We offer patients a "high tech with high touch" atmosphere by offering the latest in state-of-the-art treatment options with compassionate care and support.
The Radiation Oncology Department features the following state-of-the-art procedures:
- External Beam Radiotherapy
- Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy and 3-Dimensional Conformal treatment regimens that treat tumors at the highest dose possible while sparing normal tissue
- Body Radiosurgery that focuses finely-contoured beams of high-energy radiation from many different angles to treat various cancers, as well as Stereotactic Radiosurgery which does the same for lesions in the brain
- Radioactive Seed Implant Therapy and High Dose Rate Temporary implants, of brachytherapy, for the treatment of cancer
In addition, we offer supportive services to help patients
during their treatment including educational materials,
community referrals, support groups, and other
resources to assist in coping with diagnosis, treatment,

North Cypress is also proud to work in conjunction with American Cancer Society and CanCare to provide additional support services and resources. Housed within the Radiation Oncology Department of the Cancer Center is the Cancer Resource Library staffed by the American Cancer Society. In addition, CanCare volunteers can be accessed through our department for one-on-one counseling and to answer support-related questions.
