Has your old knee or hip worn out its welcome? Does back pain keep you up for hours at night? The North Cypress Comprehensive Total Joint and Spine Center is a comprehensive center for joint replacement and spine surgery.
Total Joint Program
Our Orthopedic surgeons, nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists specialize in the latest joint replacement and recovery techniques. If your Orthopedic surgeon declares you a Total Joint candidate, you will be scheduled for surgery and required to attend an educational “pre-op” class. Patients typically have surgery on Monday or Tuesday and are discharged from the hospital by Thursday or Friday.
Comprehensive Spine Program
As recent as 10 years ago, if you had spine surgery,
you could expect a one year recovery before returning
to normal activities and work. Now, new Minimally
Invasive Techniques are currently being performed
by the Spine Surgeons at North Cypress. Procedures
that used to result in a week-long hospital stay and a
year’s recovery period have now been diminished to a few days, a few months, and a very small scar.
